Long before the Internet existed, Saul Korman was writing regular personalized newspaper columns ranging over his life and times, men's style issues and in-store events.
For more than 30 years, Korry's Comments has continued to be a staple feature, first in The Globe & Mail and, more recently, the National Post. Since the introduction of the Web, Korry's Comments has gone online, considerably broadening its reach and appeal.

You two obviously “get it” with regards to retailing- I wish that more our electronics dealers would understand that low prices are not the answer to consumer’s needs.
I work closely with Mark on our Panasonic advertising and merchandising and he speaks highly of you and your advertising philosophy. I trust we will meet one day soon.

Hey Saul,
Just getting home after a long day.
Wore one of the suits I picked up from your store yesterday...it’s funny, when you look good, you feel good and everyone else around you feeds off that energy. Even got a couple of compliments about the suit. You can be assured that I let them know where I got it, that I certainly recommend your Roberto line and that Franco and Jerry looked after me so well and made me feel comfortable.
I’ve only got one problem… the next time you see me (in the not too far future), Franco or Jerry are going to have to show me where the staircase is… I’m coming for the Canali and the Boss I have my eye’s on.
Keep up the great work you do, not only in the store but everything you do for the people and community outside it.

Just a quick note to thank you for all of you help last Saturday March 1st. It was my wife Susan and I first visit to Korry's and we were very impressed with the service provided. The detail that Sam gave when fitting my suits and two pair of slacks too the shirts and ties I purchased the attention to detail was outstanding. I look forward to doing business with Korry's in the future.

Hi Saul:
I sent you an e.mail yesterday only to discover it was returned undeliverable. Anyway here we go again.
After listening to your ads for several years on the FAN, I finally made my first visit to Korry’s last month and bought 2 Roberto suits, 3 shirts, and 3 ties from your son Michael. When I went back to pick up the suits I bought 2 pairs of pants (he’s a good salesman). Yesterday my wife and I had several errands to run, including picking up the pants at Korry’s. I decided to dress very casually in nylon athletic pants and a zip sweat shirt and said to my lovely wife Méline (pronounced May Lynn), just watch this will be the day I meet Saul Korman looking like this!
And sure enough we walked into the store and there you were … doesn’t that just figure. Anyway, you are very gracious and it was a genuine pleasure to meet you after hearing your ads for all these years.
Thanks very much for the stories and the hats.
I look forward to shopping at Korry’s again soon.

Thanks for a great shopping experience. Normally I dread shopping for menswear because I end up dealing with staff that has no idea what they are selling. You and your staff are very professional and courteous which made the task of buying a suit a lot of fun. I will definitely be back and I have already told a bunch of my friends to go to Korry’s.

First let me begin with an introduction, my name is Peter Glumac and I am from Port Elgin (approximately 4 hours from Toronto) and a first time Korry's customer. I keep hearing your ads, so I skeptically visited your store on the Danforth to see first hand what all the fuss was about. Well, aside from the great selection what hooked me onto your establishment was your knowledgeable and courteous staff who simply made me feel at home. Normally, I expect a certain degree of customer service but let me tell you that you have managed to exceed everyone of my expectations. I hate dropping names except in extraordinary circumstances but I have to tell you that Christina Jordao managed to both impress me with her customer skills and her honesty. She spent a lot of time helping me through the process and never once did I feel rushed or pressured, which is such a feat in today's fast paced, every minute counts world.
I rarely provide this type of feedback to a company, so on the rare occasion when it does happen I believe that you thank those who were responsible for the experience. So I thank you for seeking out the best employees and to Christina who delivered it to my level. You are now my exclusive clothing supplier.

Hello Saul

Well we have heard your advertising on the radio and finally made it to your store. We weren't really sure where you were located on Danforth so we had to stop and ask a lady on the street, I think we startled her just for a second until she realized we just wanted directions to Korry's. We were quickly pointed in the right direction and arrived to find a most pleasantðand welcome atmosphere.
What a great idea, have a couple of drinks, brouse, talk and shop. Why don't you sell women's clothes too?
We have never been in a store, where youðfelt like you were visiting, more then shopping. What a great time!
I know we are coming back for sure. Great selection of clothing, styles, sizes, colours you had it all and of course we had the best service, Saul himself.
